Levels of Involvment

Promote the Event

To engage as many people as possible in the Global Cooperative Challenge we need to promote the event to students, companies, professionals, and universities  around the world. Thus, having your promotional support will be critical to enabling others to make the change happen.

Develop Long-term Partnership

We are looking for long-term partners that will support SENStation in promoting events and its participants to stakeholders such as universities and companies around the world. If you are interested in what we are doing, please contact us gc2@beta.senstation.org.

STAGE 1: IDEATION

Application Process and Market Test
(01 Oct. – 15 Dec. 2013)

Students

  • Teams of students register their ideas and create social media accounts to promote their idea.
  • 20 projects will be selected that will go to the next round!

Media Partners

  • Promote the event to their readers to spread positive news and also create opportunities for their readers to engage in the Global Cooperation Challenge.

Evaluation

20 projects will be selected that will go to the next round! We will look at:

  • Team Spirit and Abilities
  • Impact
  • Scalability and Replicability
  • Wow-effect and Innovativeness

STAGE 2: CREATION

Business Plan Development

(08 Jan. – 31 Mar. 2014)

Students

  • Teams of students will design a business plan for their social enterprise.
  • They will record a 3 minute videos about their ideas.
  • They will present the ideas during the SENS conference.
  • A maximum of 8 teams will be selected by the community to go to the ACTION STAGE.

  • Promote and update parties about the process and outcomes

Evaluation

  • All professionals and other stakeholders will vote for their favourite projects

STAGE 3: ACTION

Crowd-funding and Implementation
(1 Apr. – 30 June 2014)

Students

  • Finalists will participate in a crowd-funding event and develop an implementation plan.
  • 3 projects with the highest potential will be chosen by a panel of experts and announced at the end of the challenge.

  • Encourage their readers to support the 8 projects in the crowd-funding event.
  • Announce the winner and the results of the Global Cooperative Challenge.

Evaluation

The panel of judges will choose the 3 projects with the highest potential by June 30th, 2014
